On December 21st, 2010 Bob Reeder
was awarded by the Kansas City Sertoma Club their “Service to Mankind Award”
for his work and support of the Harp and Shamrock and the Hearing Aid Fund at the
Children’s Mercy Hospital (CMH). Below is the photo of Bob receiving the award
from John Scholtes, the Sertoma President. The
award was given at a luncheon at the Golden Ox in Kansas City attended by many
Sertoma members and representatives from CMH. In a hundred years they have only
awarded 75 of these. Congratulations, Bob!! We

Here is a photo of our
check presentation at Children’s Mercy Hospital on April 8th. We
presented a check for $9,822.00 for the Hearing Aid Fund. A big thank
you for all of the hard work of the Club members and the support of the KC
Irish community. These funds are from all our 2009 fund raising
activities which included our booths at festivals, St. Patrick's Day Float,
donations, and our Annual Celtic Music Benefit. |
